I remember when my art career began. I was five
years old and my kindergarten class held a fire safety art contest.
I can't recall what the picture looked like, but I won the big
prize of $5.00. Big money! After that happened, each year the
teachers would use me to help create bulletin-boards and draw
caricatures for their lessons. In high school, I was the one who
was called on by everyone to paint the run-through banner or the
cover for the annual and cartoons, etc. I miss those days! Ever
since then I have been on the journey of learning new forms of
art and design. Blacksmithing, copper, woodwork and furniture
making, trompe l'oiel murals, sculpture, and interior design.
Every day is a learning experience when your an artist.
I love it. Thanks to my creator for my gifts! May it be used for
the good of the world.
